I am a UI/UX designer who builds what I design. Free Mining is where I write down what worked, what did not, and what I would do differently on the next project.
The site began in 2023 as a blog about investing and cryptocurrency. It has been rebuilt around the work I actually do: design, web development and running a small digital business, with AI tools now part of almost every step.

How articles are written
Articles come from work I have done or tools I have used. I say what I tested and what I did not. AI tools change quickly, so I update articles when something important changes and I correct mistakes when I find them or when a reader points them out.
Some articles use AI tools for research or drafting. I review and edit everything before it is published, and I am responsible for what appears on this site.
Advertising and independence
This site shows ads to help cover hosting and the time it takes to write. Ads are clearly labelled and they never decide what I write about. If I ever include an affiliate link or sponsored content, I will say so on the page.
